Although SC has been poorly prepared for a few games this season, in my opinion, they've had the deck stacked against them a few times.
USC is poorly coached.
Usually takes a good coach like Saban, Dabo or D'Antonio to beat Meyer (you can debate Ferentz) but he's still miles ahead of Clay Helton.
USC never raised their game all year. And the one team they played that might have similar talent to OSU (Notre Dame) USC got embarrased on the lines and on the scoreboard.

This is probably ignorant on my part but I haven’t really watched much SC this season with the exception of some clips at the end of games, know Darnold has the mobility but can he throw deep and does he have a gun for an arm? Hopefully I’ll learn from a witness’ perspective tonight even though the sample size is small.

No idea what to make of this game. Will be interested in Darnold vs the Ohio State secondary. Outside of Denzel Ward, I think the Buckeyes secondary is pretty mediocre at best.
I do expect Dobbins and Weber to eat up a lot of yards.

darnold is fantastic, but will only go as far as his line can protect him. lots of injuries on usc's o line. missing 2 reg season starters.

Only way OSU loses if Urban forgets he has a RB and goes to the sideline to sideline passing attack..Just an observation from watching OSU a fews times this season.

expect a large ohio st crowd vs a sparse usc one. the crowd will def favor ohio st.

Yea OSU needs to remember they have 2 elite backs and need to give them the ball 30+ times

This really is a huge factor in most of Ohio State’s losses during Urban’s tenure. If you go back to the losses you will see they ran JT into the ground while ignoring a premier RB.

There are never any excuses for losing to Notre Dame, period. That said, the Irish had significant advantages. They were out of class the week prior, so the Irish players had plenty of time to review film and prep for that game. They also had a BYE week prior, and were well rested. USC was missing half of its offensive line, had several key injuries on defense, and had played six consecutive weeks with no BYE, including a short rest Friday night road game where they narrowly lost to WSU.
Ohio State will not see the same USC team that started that night in South Bend. I'm not guaranteeing victory by any means, tOSU is a very good team that has something in common with USC: Neither has truly played to their potential, and I put that down to coaching. I'm pointing the finger here not only at Helton, but also at Meyer. Helton doesn't have Meyer's resume, but as bad as USC's loss to Notre Dame was, I'd say that the Buckeyes 55-24 loss to Iowa was worse.

I don’t know who will win. But one thing is guaranteed for sure. Whichever team does not win this game, even if both teams play awesomely, will be touted by the MSB as “overrated”

MSB "overrated" teams are like OT 6's. A lot better in real life.

I will laugh when osu ends up with the same amount of losses as LSU

Yeah...Pac-12 gave USC the anti-Bama schedule.
If USC doesn't win the Pac-12 South, they would have had zero byes all year.

Guess I could always watch retrospective clips of him throwing throughout his past seasons at SC in addition to tonight’s game to gain greater understanding of the multiple football-based attributes of the Anointed Sam Darnold but IDK maybe one game against a top-notch OSU defense could be sufficient, guess we’ll see
