The night Chris Paul led a siege into the Clippers locker room and created NBA Twitter gold. Let’s look back

LINK
quote:

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn · 11m Houston Rockets’ players James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green pushed into Clippers locker room post-game looking to confront Austin Rivers, league sources tell ESPN. Security escorted Rockets out before anything turned physical

quote:

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn · 4m Rockets players were clamoring for Blake Griffin too, league sources said. Chris Paul also entered with other Rockers players through a backstory that connects team dressing rooms

quote:

Ashley Brewer @abc7ashley · 9m LAPD was called into the locker room area. Now hearing Chris Paul stayed out of it, 3 Rockets players were going after Austin Rivers

That was the best moment in Inside the NBA history. Shaq and Chuck couldnt even hold their laughter in while that chick was reporting.

This was such a fun night. This was the highlight though. I about died when he said police presence.

It was a shame 70% of the MSB was asleep though.

ETA: What a great thread. Twitter was a goldmine during all this.

glad there was no fight. Both for the suspensions and for the players on the clippers. Many of whom are former rockets that we have a lot of love for. CC is the last squad in the league I’d wanna come across pissed off in a hallway

glad to have austin now as one of us. I always admired him from afar and felt he would be a good match with his passion for the game and conpetitiveness.
