One thing I didn’t understand about the NFL’s Covid-19 propaganda

Like many sports-deprived fans, I watched every single minute of Rounds 1-3. Not one single time did they say anything about helping people get back to work and getting their lives back together.
“Stay at home, save lives, we will beat this.” Apparently small businesses can get fricked. Does the NFL realize that if everyone is in financial ruin they won’t be able to afford their tickets and overpriced merchandise? What is the incentive to push this narrative so hard?

The NFL gives zero fricks about society and is arrogant enough to believe that people will spend money on their product. They might even be right though

This is a scalding hot take. The NFL doesn’t have to be managed well to print money.

Go rant on the poli board you ignorant little shite.
Do you work for a major hospital system, the governor's office, the department of health, or the CDC?
If not, you don't know jack shite about the actual data. The plan is working, don't frick it up for everyone else.

My premise wasn’t really political. I just didn’t understand the need for the nonstop Coronavirus testimonials, lectures from nurses, repeating the same buzzwords like “social distancing” 40,000 times.
It’s a weird stance for the NFL (a non essential business) to have. I felt like they talked about the pandemic way more than any of the actual draft choices

WestCoastAg and GreatLakesTiger24 are absolutely right,
Politicians are flexing their muscles now. They see a chance to gain real power over the people.
Business owners have been hit hard and are regrouping.
We shall see who wins this battle.
