Then why doesn't he get open?

bad play design?
impatience on the part of the inbounder?
maybe he's physically incapable of getting free?

all three?

i love westbrook. i really like durant

westbrook has acted like a selfish a-hole at times, and he's played out of control at times. i completely admit it

but he's been forced to. KD is playing too passive, and he's taking too many shitty shots while not driving enough.

if KD wants this to be his team, and those shots be his shots, HE NEEDS TO MAN UP.

i don't know if KD is ready to be the man yet. perkins had to suggest the team meeting and KD piggy-backed on the idea (and i'm sure had the meeting with perkins having his proverbial back)

westbrook seems to be a little too eager to be the man

they're going to have to sort this out, and it starts with durant

He can't bench 185! He wants no part of that

There's no way that you can say that Westbrook is a better defender than Rose.

I won't say it, I'll let the statistics say it...the only reason Russ averages 3 less points is because he takes three less shots.

I've seen them both play 25+ games this year (around 50 for Russ, 25-26 for Rose). They are nearly identical, but the effort Westbrook makes on D is better, hands down--he's slightly longer and can block alot of shots. Additionally Russ defends the best 1-guards in the league more often.

The Bulls point guard has the advantage in scoring, but that's about it. Westbrook averages more assists (8.5 compared to 7.4), rebounds (4.6 to 4.1) and steals (1.9 to 1).

dirk is the best shooting 4 of all time.
what does that have to do with boozer being one of the better shooting outside of the paint 4s in the league.

Horford, Boozer, Garnett, West, Bosh, Gasol. All have pretty darn good 15-20 foot jumpers.

The midrange jumper is pretty much boozer's game.

Dirk is just unreal.

i think he's top 3 in "long 2" % for 4s

dirk is #1 and i think LA is #2

the #s may have shifted

bosh declined, i believe

those are your top 4 midrange shooting 4s

dirk, bosh, aldridge, and boozer

This is why I hate the idea of positions in the NBA.

Dirk may be a PF on paper, but he's not in the traditional sense, so I don't see comparing him to those other guys listed.

You were dead on saying Boozer is one of the best outside shooting 4s int he game, and comparing him to Horford, Garnet, etc...

But then the other guy brings up Dirk, and Dirk maybe technically be a 4 like those guys, but we all know, he is NOTHING like those guys, and not jsut because he is better, but his game is completely different as well.

Remember your NBA predictions, oh I don't know, every year over the past 3 or 4 years?

Or you picking the Heat to win 70 this year? Or you switching your pick and saying there was no way teh heat could beat the Celtics?

Or you picking the Mavs to go to the Finals every year for about 4 years now?
