But the timing of all of that is entirely too close to just toss it out.
Youd think those UL basketball recruits would be able to do the same but you say what garbage hookers they were provided.

I do not think he lost his job because of this incident. I think it had more to do with the upcoming sanctions facing Ole Miss.
Also, the fact that he resigned is irrelevant because, as many have stated, he would have been fired had he not resigned.
Freeze should have absorbed the embarrassment and got ready for Memphis on Sep 2.

Houston Nutt's attorney got phone records from Freeze from early 2016 before national signing day. Nutt wanted to find evidence that Freeze called media outlets trying to blame the NCAA case on Nutt. Nutt's attorney found the escort call and ask Ole Miss about it. Ole Miss new about it but Freeze told them it was nothing when it happened. The phone call was less than a minute so Ole Miss didn't think about. Nutt's attorney told every media outlet about the phone call last week and nobody was gonna run with the one phone call story that lasted less than a minute. Ole Miss decided to go through all of Freeze phone records since he has been at Ole Miss and found out he has done it more than a few times. Freeze had a 15 million buyout that this allows Ole Miss to never have to pay Freeze a cent. Ole Miss can now pay around 5 million for their next head coach and if they make it out of the NCAA case with a one year bowl ban allows them to reset the program in a few months.

Ever since then, they've had the running joke that they basically should have immediately been put on probation because the evidence was overwhelming, they're Ole Miss and they have great recruits going to their school.

Ole Miss clearly cheated but they never signed the highest rated recruiting class and only signed two top ten classes under the Freeze era. If Tunsil stepfather incident and draft night didn't happen Ole Miss wouldn't be in the position it's in. Ole Miss lost more recruiting battles than won over the last few years. Freeze calling escorts on the schools phone is a great example of how stupid the administration is. When the guy running the program can't cover up his own personal life how can he cover up up a school clearly cheating.
