Ok, this face mask thing is getting ridiculous

What's with the deal every year you see players on defense (mainly the line) coming out with more and more bars on their face mask?? Do they really think it makes an O-lineman afraid of them? Is it supposed to look cool? They should just trot out there with a damn crotch rocket full faced helmet on. Oh and you know they gotta have a visor, preferably tinted. Just wear a regular damn helmet and face mask for your position and let your play speak for itself.

I'm 23? So no, I haven't worn questionable attire in my day. I'm the typical b-ball shorts, t-shirt and ball cap guy, sry.
