Did you have him in fantasy?

The rams and chiefs combined for the most points in NFL history and he had like 60 total yards and no touchdowns. He's been weird awhile. The media hasn't noticed until last week.

Rumor around SoCal is he fricked McVay's girlfriend

I don't think it's true but if it was that would make more sense. His reaction after the Saints game was weird. He doesn't seem bitter and he said he wasn't injured. I honestly could believe that.

That would make McVay a cuckold and a pussy. You're trying to win a Super Bowl dude, who cares about some gold digger?

Yeah, if that's true the moron must have forgotten that he's rich, famous, young and living in Los Angeles.

Its not unprecedented. LeBron quit in the ECF after a teammate banged his mom.

Maybe this rumor has legs after all.

Could the Rams be putting this out there in the media to prepare their fans for a Gurley trade this offseason?

quote:

Rams Must Explore Trading Todd Gurley and His Record-Setting Contract

quote:

Gurley wasn't listed on the team's injury reports leading up to Sunday's Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots, and Rams head coach Sean McVay said again following the defeat that the All-Pro back was healthy.

But the NFL regular-season touchdown leader was limited to fewer than a dozen touches for the second time in as many games.

quote:

It's become apparent that even though Gurley excelled for much of this season, that commitment was a mistake. Anderson is obviously a hell of a lot cheaper, and an argument can be made that he's better-suited to succeed in McVay's offense.

quote:

Paying up for Gurley was a miscalculation—possibly stemming from the fact that he was the team's first offensive superstar after it relocated back to Los Angeles—and now the best approach is to deal Gurley and his massive contract before he loses luster on the trade market.

quote:

Trading Gurley would enable them to keep a higher number of strong players at positions that should be more highly prioritized, which could make a world of difference for a young team that isn't expected to have much salary-cap space in the upcoming offseasons.

Because the Rams lost on Sunday in Atlanta, a first-team All-Pro back still hasn't won the Super Bowl this century, and only three of this century's 19 Super Bowl-winning teams had a Pro Bowl back on their roster.

So the Rams might not need Gurley to become a consistent Super Bowl contender, and their coach has indicated with his in-game decisions that he agrees with that sentiment.

this. im sure we will hear about a knee surgery in the next week or two. one that would have landed him on ir had they done it during the year.

trent williams played on a torn acl last year for a few games. playing didnt make his knee any less fricked up.

That's a whole lot of crap in one article.

Said it in another thread, CJ was a better back, per dollar paid and the production the Rams received.

I’m not familiar with this name. Is he a point guard and how does this relate to Anthony Davis?

It certainly is but think about this. If you had a talented RB like Gurley & you felt the urgent need to move him via trade, you have to make it justifiable to your fan base. The article is garbage but this is the new age we live it. Organizations use the media spin any agenda they deem necessary.

Paying a running back $60 mil is fricking retarded and the point can not be argued. Whomever made that decision should be fired.

They might decide to unload him, but it won't be to feature CJ's fat arse.

Exactly. Gurley was an MVP candidate for a long portion of the season. You don't unload him to feature CJ frickin Anderson as your #1 back. The spin in that article was all bullshite.
