While on paid administrative leave because of a pending university investigation, Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer has been ordered to stay out of sight and out mind.

Christopher Davey, Ohio State's associate vice president for university communications, confirmed to Cleveland.com writer Bill Landis that Meyer isn't permitted contact with players, coaches or staff members.

Also, he doesn't have access to university-issued communication devices or his school email account. He is also not permitted on campus property including the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and the football offices.

There is almost a part of me that wants for him to be reinstated with a simple 3 game suspension and then for Brett McMurphy to air more dirty laundry so to put more egg on Ohio State’s face.

They can have Mark Stoops if they want him.

I’m not sure what happens. The fans I know think he’s going to get a suspension.

I keep coming back to my original point - how many guys that are ever put on admin leave are ever allowed to return? The list can’t be long.

Isn't all that implied with a paid administrative leave?
I'm not sure how this is new information. What did people think that meant?

Why is this new breaking news?

I would assume these were the provisions of his original suspension? It doesn't say in the article that this is a new policy, it just confirmed what the reporter asked.

This is not news, this is the point of a university placing one of its employees on leave while it conducts damage control, anything could happen at this point but I predict a slap on the wrist suspension

Exactly. If he was still with the team, it wouldn’t be a suspension at all. This is no news at all.

This story implies that this is something new, like some dramatic event unfolded and he was reprimanded. The whole point of admin leave is you don't have contact...this is nothing besides click bait.

Just a few years ago you were wishing this and worse on posters for supporting Trump; now you’re so quick to defend that same Trump against criticism, you’re falling for Onion satire articles.

So if history holds, you’ll be supporting Urban in a couple years.
