Carlos Locklyn was hired away from Oregon and his biography is one of the most interesting and inspirational I have ever read. He's only been a CF running backs coach for 3 years You should read his story. It is amazing. Said he started as a volunteercoach at Memphis under Mike Norvell, changing clothes in the football facility parking lot- out of his bullet proof- vest and prison guard uniform into coaching gear.... This is just one small snippet of this amazing mans story.

why would a prison guard need a bullet proof vest if their are no guns in prison?

He also worked as a police officer in Mississippi. Line staff correctional officers don't wear ballistics vests.

Hell, Chad Lavalais was a prison guard before playing at LSU. What’s the big deal

I still think we should let our defensive lineman be prison guards instead of redshirting

Once upon a time, LSU signed a former prison guard to play defensive tackle on their football team
