B1G teams are going to go the Wisconsin scheduling route now with Nebraska in the conference, plus the championship game.
wait.. isnt this what the SEC is always killed for? and at least the top of the SEC has proved to be elite every year. B1G is pathetic this year

Major pet peeve of mine.

Also makes it easy to hate Brady Hoke, and offered a nice spot for restitution when Ohio beat Michigan in basketball this year.

What a stupid fricking thread.

UCF is respectable and I would venture to say a lot better than many SEC team's OOC. (TOWSON, IDAHO come to mind)

Cal is at least as good as Washington is. And they're at least a BCS team.

Ridiculous post is ridiculous.

I have always been fond of how the Gators schedule OOC play.

Sure you have, your team never leaves the freakin' state let alone the South!!!! You and Georgia are the worst offenders...in fact, your SEC schedule from here on out barely makes you leave the State of Florida.

You have nothing to talk about or criticize as a Florida fan brah. You are pathetic at OOC travel. Absolutely pathetic.

Overrated: tough OOC opponents at home or region
Underrated: going on the road/out of region to face a decent opponent

The latter tests teams more, you see it all the time. Suddenly Awesome team X isn't so awesome on the West Coast (see Tennessee in multiple years in Cali vs. playing at Neyland.)

The last time UF played an OOS OOC game was like 1991 when they lost to Syracuse. Florida can't criticize anyone.

LSU had TCU scheduled by THEY dropped out so we had to get Towson.

After the schedule we played last year ya'll can all GTFO. Even so how many teams plays 5 ranked teams including the #1 team in the nation and maybe Georgia if we make to the SECCG.

Tennessee had been terrible for the better part of a decade when they made those trips.

That being said, LSU's OOC this season is terrible. The last few years were pretty good, though.

Off the top of my head UGA played at Arizona State in 2008 at Oklahoma State in '09 and at Colorado in '10, I believe. AJ Green made that great catch in his first game back at CU.

This isn't a very good year to look at such things. All the realignment has caused scheduling conflicts and a lot of teams scrambled at the last minute to fill an open slot or two.

This. I can't remember a weaker OOC schedule for LSU than this year, but that was due to last-minute cancellations.

That is because of the SEC, not the OCS.

Stupid post is stupid. Ohio State schedules just as many, if not more, home and homes against quality schools. Texas, USC, Miami, Cal, VA Tech, Oklahoma.

It's not like the athletic department knew Miami and Cal were going to fall off after they signed the agreement.
