Wat?

I find him incredibly overrated.

His measurables and character have created a nice floor for him. But I just don’t see what people see in his game.

A lot of people must be getting hoodwinked. He just won't B1G defensive player of the year.

This is so unbelievably weak.

I’ve watched so many Alabama players receive similar hype/awards while knowing full well they’re not nearly as good as the media is saying with their contrived lazy arse Kirk Herbstreit/Desmond takes.

And I call it out when I see it. “Dude he has to be great bc he won this award” is a wild take.

ETA: Landon Collins was a unanimous all American

He's dynamic against the run, a fantastic open field tackler, very solid against the pass, and nearly always around the ball. And dude goes back to the huddle on every play with no shenanigans.

There's highlights all over Twitter that show how elite he is. I suppose the NFL teams are getting the wool thrown over their eyes when he goes top 10 this year?

Here's a few:

Yeah, we pretty much agree. Although I’m not convinced he’s very solid against the pass. Mostly bc I haven’t seen him play enough.

Dude are you trolling me?

Kyle fricking Pitts was drafted 4th or something

And we’re nearly agreeing here. His character, build, and seemingly decently solid floor are things I think will get him drafted too high. But I think his game is very overrated and yes I think NFL scouts have wool pulled over their eyes just like every season.

As you know, this week doesn’t really matter as both teams will get in win or lose. Loser gets to host. Ohio State will be a problem and could win a bunch

Idk what you want me to say about those videos. Again, yes I see that and it’s highlighting what I’m saying.

He’s potentially an in the box safety who is getting treated like a 230 pound Honey Badger. I do not think he’s that dynamic at this point.

Both teams are getting byes. Who would jump the losing team into the top 4?
