This is not a statement that it could be a trap game (it won't), but do you like that your first opponent is a big ten team, on a Thursday to boot?

Definitely one of the more interesting week 1 games for either team.

In fact, has a big ten team ever opened playing another big ten team?

What is interesting about it if you believe it isn't a trap game?

tOSU will make the Hoosiers say uncle by the end of the first half I have a feeling. But in good news, Zander Diamont will not be around to turnover the ball in back to back plays giving up 14 points.

I meant it is interesting, historically, that this game is happening on a thursday week 1.

IU has opened on Thursday or Friday twice I believe. They played INS and FIU. They played SIU at home on a Saturday it was a bad crowd, since Labor Day weekend.

I think it will be closer than a lot of people think it will be. Indiana seems to always play Ohio State pretty tough, and it will be the first game of the season so Ohio State could come out rusty(Indiana could too though). I think Ohio State wins by like 10

Not that this is the most recent case, but LSU had a similar thing in 2007 when they played Miss State on the road, and destroyed them. Won it all that year. Not sure how that was 10 years ago.

I think IU scores more than 14, but who the hell knows now that Wilson is not there anymore to put in Diamont.

I thought the B1G was moving toward that more, with conf games to start the year, a la the SEC.
