When have I EVER said I don't want him to win????? He is great for the game. I hope he breaks Jacks record. I just don't think he will. GOLF is an UNFORGIVING game. I said you wanted him to win, but when he doesn't you criticize him. That's the difference,I usually am not as hard on him as you are if he doesn't win
Tiger is done, shot 68 today. Look good the last 4 holes, and first 7, from 8 through 14 he was just off.
Eta: it doesn't even matter what Tiger or anyone else does IMO, Bubba is making this course his bitch. -18 with 4 to play

NO. YOU seem to want to put him on a level he is not at. YES he once was, but is NOT anymore. Here is the BIGGEST thing about TIGER. HIs INTIMIDATION!!! Thats NOT there anymore. I'm not sure what level you think I put him at, I don't think he is the best golfer in the world right now.
Is he capable of it? Sure
Will he do it? That remains to be seen. Just because he is not winning now doesn't mean he won't ever, how hard is that for YOU to understand
You don't have to come in these threads and tell everyone how dumb they are, it won't get anything accomplished. Not to mention you are severely discounting what the other golfers are doing. Bubba has a chance to break Tigers record of strokes to par this week.

Whatever you say, 2 posts ago I said he was off in the middle of the round, call it whatever you want (focus, intimidation, etc.) and played well the other holes which he did. That's not sugar coating anything I don't think.
Eta: Bubba just bladed a shot out of the sand and was headed for water about 40 yards over the green and it landed in the shot link tower

He will falter tomorrow. IMO. He just isn't there YET. Like I have said. I hope he gets back to where he was. But its very doubtful. I can understand the EMOURMUS amount of pressure he has on him, But again its self-inflicted. Its a shame that if THAT didn't happen what could have been.I don't care about him cheating on his wife. Thats his problem. But Its a story that just shows how FRAGILE things can be. Look, dudes screw around on their wives all the time and get caught. Can we please rename the weekly golf threads to the "Tiger Woods Round" thread? I just searched the last two pages and found 2 small comments about the leader of the tournament, Bubba Watson. Not a single other golfer, other than Toms who withdrew, has been mentioned in the last 40 posts.
