Same boat. Switching jobs and I doubt I will be able to put nearly as much time into it this year. But the entertainment value is what I get out of it.
Im thinking $50 for the first year.
I think 6 games a week (I would post the contest locked spreads on Wednesday around 2pm) and you would have a 10pm Friday deadline to get your picks in. You can use Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday night games as you wish. I would reserve a spot on the first page of the Week's betting thread each week to post the contest lines and the official contestants picks each week. We could use a fee holding website like League Safe or Tilt to hold everyones entry fee.
We could also have 1 game each week be your Lock of the Week worth 2 points instead of 1.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention UH -12 at home against UTSA.
UH beat UTSA last year at San Antonio by 31 points.
UTSA returns 19 starters from that team, but they aren't very good to begin with. Camaraderie can only take you so far.
Houston is going to have a pretty potent offense and they return 8 starters from a defense that led the nation with 43 turnovers in 2013.
UH is also opening up a brand new stadium this year and this will be the first game played in said stadium.
UH might win this game by 4 TDs.
