That is the worst feeling in the world right there. Just hanging on the lip.

I guess he's due for another birdie now

From what he said after the round yesterday, it's a non issue now. He just slept on too soft a bed or something.

Tiger with a double on 12, top 10 finish looking less likely.

ETA: Snedeker moves into a tie for 2, trying to play his way onto the Ryder Cup team

I am GONNA SAY IT AGAIN. His ability to make a move or close the deal on the weekends is gone. Face it. A shame for sure, but HEY getting older sucks for all of us.

Well he's never been good at coming from behind, so now surprise there.

but his ability to

quote:

close the deal on the weekends is gone.

is much more alarming

ETA: In majors, he's closed out 3 wins this year, but can't find his game when it counts the most.

SERIOUS. I think his mindset has been so screwed up since THE EVENT that he still hasn't recovered from it. I mean lets look at this. He was On top of the world and was the most recognized athlete in the world, and then THAT happened. In a sport where you are basically on your own with. Golf is NOT easy and to play it at the ELITE level Tiger was able to play it, its hard to recover from just a minor injury, let alone your WHOLE personal life being exposed. Say what you want but I think that is way too much for someone to overcome.

I think its a combo of mental and physical. His wedge game has improved this week but the putting left him again. He is really hot and cold with the putter.
