The fact Carlson and Hartnell got roughing minors for jawing while Giroux was PUNCHING WILSON IN THE FACE while Wilson was laying on the ice is fricking ridiculous. frick these refs. Then to call Alzner for a high stick when literally five seconds earlier Giroux grabbed Green's stick out of his hands and threw it to the ice is just absurd.

I accept the refs' apology in the form of a weak arse makeup call on Simmonds. Which gave us 3 on 3 hockey.

Does the East look bad w/ the Pens loss to the BHawks?
Watchings Sabres v Stars right now. Miller's replacement, Enroth, has been hot but just lost to the Stars b/c of absolutely no help, same problem Miller had.

Nah, that game is really no indication I'd still take the Pens in a series over the Hawks.
I love the outdoor games but it's terrible hockey if the weather wants to do what it did. It's a much different game.
The best 2 teams points wise in the West are playoff choke artists (Blues and Ducks, throw the Sharks in there too).
Wouldn't ever count Boston out in the East, or Tampa when Stamkos returns. Beyond them and the Pens it's a crapshoot.

also, hated the whole indoor stadium series thing having a closed roof stadium between the two Canadian teams on sunday

Yessir, since I was a little kid. I did too actually, but couldn't find anyone to go with me on short notice and then with the weather and outcome glad I didn't.

Yeah it was pretty lame, watched about half a period. Canucks jerseys were awesome though, loved the Pens' too.
