On the other side of the spectrum, you have Playoff Bob.

Oilers #33 getting abused out there.

I swear Dallas does the same fricking thing every time they get the puck.

Dallas is so gun shy they are exiting the zone prematurely

Let’s pump the brakes on laying this at Oetter’s feet. Dallas has done absolutely nothing to help him out. Look at the two goals tonight, they couldn’t have gifted Janmark and Perry better looks if they tried.
Look, the Stars are a good team or they wouldn’t be here but they do have a bit of a fatal flaw. They’re just flat not physical or gritty enough to beat Edmonton. Far too often they get pushed to the outside instead of driving to the middle of the ice. Edmonton has made a killing this series from the middle of the ice because they’re willing and able to go in there. Benn was that physical presence for a lot of his career but he can’t do it alone plus he’s old. Dallas needs some guys that aren’t necessarily thugs, but guys who can get in the mud and throw their weight around.

I just think the Stars are straight up not even close to as talented as Edmonton. And they lack discipline.

Is this actually true though? I don’t follow hockey super closely but everything I’ve read is the Stars are incredibly talented. I just think they are soft and lack discipline as you say. They have to be near the top of the list in playoff wins this decade so they must be doing something right.

I wouldn't have pulled O. No way.

What has puzzled me the most - Oilers aside - I am unable to identify an adjustment yet to be made by DeBoer....
Pedro Martinez was once asked if he was going to change how he had been pitching to the Yankees...his response, 'why, they have yet to figure me out'.....this is what this series feels like. Pedro is the Oilers, Dallas as the Yankees
Dallas is an open skate team...there is no room

Well what do ya know? Dallas has FINALLY been willing to fight for the middle of the ice and they’ve beaten Skinner twice. Imagine that.

They have to feed off this crowd now….

It’s not talent, it’s been style of play. Dallas has been WAY too soft and wouldn’t fight for the middle of the ice/get guys in Skinners face. They’re FINALLY doing that now and what do ya know, they’re having success.

McDavid one on one is just unfair. Good God is he FAST…

Whelp, McDavid doing McDavid things.
If Dallas would’ve played this style all series, they probably wouldn’t be in this position. Hopefully it’s not too little too late.
Also, pulling Jake was dumb.

That dude can play and is lightning fast to go along with all that talent he has.

Now you have second guessing, a media frenzy, bad feelings in the locker room, what a mess. He's your best chance to win. I thought he'd be back for the second period. Lots of finger pointing if Dallas loses this series.

He’s been awful this series and let two easy saves get by him very early in the first.

The two Jake gave up were goals where he was absolutely left out to dry. The first DeSmith goal was awful and I get it on the second one that it’s McDavid but I would’ve felt much better with Oetter there than Casey.

I’m sorry, what? Easy saves?! They left two guys uncovered in the slot.
