That PP clearly was the difference tonight and if Dallas can keep cashing in like they have these playoffs, I like their chances. The PP tonight was night and day from what we saw last year in this series.

It’s just so tough to keep Dallas’ depth down for long. It’s happened a few times these playoffs but no one has been able to do it back to back. Following the Stars 3 shutout losses in the first two rounds, they’ve followed up with a combined 12 goals in the following 3 games, all wins.
Also, like I said in my last post, if Dallas can keep up the PP at the clip they’ve been, they’ll be hard to beat. The Stars are 6-1 when scoring 3+ goals in these playoffs and you have to feel pretty good about their chances of getting to that benchmark if the special teams continue to show up along with their 5v5 play against a goalie like Skinner.

Great third by the Stars and that was without Wyatt, Rant , or Robo scoring. Edmonton is in trouble this series now. What a flip.

I think that clip of Drai and McDavid looking at each other on the bench kinda told the story. Almost a "what the hell happened" kind of look to it. If Dallas can keep the offense going at remotely the level it was in the third last night, I think they win the series. Just don't think Skinner will be able to go toe to toe with Oetter if Jake can get some support on the offensive end.
