who are the best players in the state? Any high potential draft picks?
Daniel Cabrera is likely the top Louisiana prospect. I believe he was the only player from LA to make the USA select team

Did I see the score right in the Catholic vs OCS game? Max Preps has Catholic winning 27-9...It shows OCS going 1-3 this weekend. I thought OCS was supposed to be loaded - some folks had them in the top 2-3 teams in the state regardless of classification.

OCS was up 8-0 in the 1st and Catholic exploded.
I missed the Live Oak score. Catholic gave up 5 in the 7th to lose 12-11. Ouch.

Where did you find the baseball rankings? I've been looking all over.

Thanks ... 6-3A should be a dog fight again with 4 of the top ten in district.

Ascension Christian vs Dunham tomorrow at 3:30. Should be a great matchup. ACH won against Dunham last week 5-1. Ascension Christian has a stud freshman pitcher.

Hahnville defeats Chalmette 4-2 in 10 innings tonight in da Parish.

Sam Houston, Brother Martin, Catholic will move up. Sulphur will drop. WM will likely drop a bit just because of the others moving up.

Damn good game...
Sounds like it was. I checked the Hahnville Baseball facebook page for updates, sounds like Baudry used 3 or 4 pitchers and Perrin came in to close it out. The Tigers should be fine in district since it's probably going to be between them and Destrehan as usual.

This is what I was saying in the MPSA thread. It's a different class of talent.
