I disagree. There will be upsets in the first round this year. The gap is not as large as you think. The top teams are just more consistent. But talent wise, the gap is not large.

In Brusly's defense they have beaten really good teams really bad. The teams you listed were the ones in the bottom tier.

Teams Brusly beat by looking at their record include:
Central Catholic, ED White, Kinder, Op Catholic, EA, Zachary, Uhigh, and West Fel.

Now the intention of this board was to notify TD viewers of scores, news, etc. not someone coming in and bashing a school, especially a school that is a 1 seed in the playoffs with the best record in any classification, just makes you look a little foolish sir.

PBS beat EA twice and split with WF.....

a couple of those wins you claim are not like the ones i mentioned my man...

I said the shirts were nice and reported the score.......both facts....

if Brusly didn't want to win why call for the tarp 35 minutes before rain or lightning came? sure........

I simply countered your bragging and you didn't like it...

oh wait I said co district champs too.. another fact....

you know me... next time we see each other I'll come tell you the relevant facts regarding that senior you think partied too much....

seems to me if you are gonna count a win on a t shirt before the game is actually played - you wanted to win....

For the record nothing I said bashed brusly, heck I know too many of those kids and parents too well for that.... heck I coached one of their kids...

I simply asked a question and compared non district schedules....

choup I don't know anything about shirts or tarps I just think it's a little unprofessional to say Brusly's success comes from playing a weak schedule.

I have looked at teams they have beat and they have beaten some pretty good teams.

Also they won one of the toughest districts in 3A. Give them credit

You're forgetting their wins over EA, Zachary, EDW, and Kinder.

All very good teams and teams who have made a run the past few years

They as well lost two senior starters on the mound last year and replaced 6 or 7 position players in the field

I'm not sure but I heard pulling a tarp in a 20MPH wind is pretty tough. Maybe you should've tried to help them if they would've decided to wait to put it out

did they lose two senior starters off of THIS years team...

my point of the tarp - was they were calling for a rain delay 35 minutes before the rain arrived - same time it took to complete the game on friday - you missed my point....

i did give them credit - many times... and in person... congratulated every brusly player I know well and the one I coached.....

as for EA and Z... yeah they are both solid this year - did not mention ea since PBS beat them twice...

in any classification PBS had one of the 3 toughest schedules - only 2 non district opponents did not make the playoffs - holy cross who was a 32 seed...and runnels...all non district opponents were 4 and 5a except for Runnels, notre dame and OC(ouchita christian)...

both of you took things out of context.... If you think their schedule was equal to PBS's schedule.... there is no point debating...

saying brusly did not want to win thursday/friday is simply not true...

was the tarp needed.... everyone knew the rain was coming and enough rain to push it back a day tarp or no tarp.. it was a brilliant stall tactic....
