I went a weak 26-13 for the week on my picks with my Saders left to play Dutchtown. Lutcher falling was a huge disappointment to me. They were up like 25-6 at one point and blew it. I was really hoping to see Franklinton vs Lutcher in the dome. A little Magee and Landry action in one game.

Congrats Leesville for a fine season. Good luck Demons.

I saw the new district pairings has Deridder and Leesville in the same class but different districts. How in he world does that happen?

Leesville and DeRidder haven't been in the same district in about 6 years, since Leesville was moved to the Alexandria district.

They were down 24 - 6 at one point. They came all the way back to take a 25 - 24 lead. And then lost it at the end.

Oh yeah, I agree. I think they strategically placed an ineligible player on their team, then disclosed it just at the right time so that they can lose a few games but still sneak into the playoffs. That would be MUCH better than going in with only one loss and potentially have home field advantage with a single digit ranking and be favored until the semis. Yeah, that's the ticket.

BTW a rematch w/STM would be AT STM

IMO the DeRidder should be: DeRidder, Leesville, St. Louis, Washington-Marion, and LaGrange...keeping everything on Hwy 171

NOT the actual: DeRidder, St. Louis, Washington-Marion, LaGrange, Opelousas, and Beau Chene

So anyone with high school football knowledge in here care to address whether Jesuit even has a prayer this week heading up to WM?

WM is a dominant program. I think Jesuit will score a couple touchdowns, if they can play their balanced offense with Richard being able to have some success rushing. McMahon has nice touch for a QB and anticipates his receivers. The TE is essential for Jesuit, he's good, with some size.

The game is played for a reason. Anything can happen when your talking about teenagers. Injuries, penalties, and turnovers factor in. Jesuit may have a 1 and a 1000 shot but West Monroe still has to show up and play.

Your exactly right,And any team that makes it this for into the playoffs their a decent team. heell a high school game's outlook can change dramatically if its rainy and cold. So at this point any team could win.
