Crowder is a nice player for Suns. Wanted him on Pels. It’s an overpay but he will help that team.

he shoot 45% from 3 in the bubble. Outside the bubble he is under 33% going back 5 years sample size.

Nicolas Batum: $27,130,434
Terry Rozier: $18,900,000
Cody Zeller: $15,415,730

just had to type it out to see it with my own two eyes.

Honestly, I think Charlotte's outlook is increasingly bright. Lamelo coming in, and and we'll see how he looks. They'll suck again and pick top five again. Batum and Zeller come off the books next year. Rozier played better than I thought he would. They're not going to recruit anyone better than Gordon for a few years at least.

Suns beat out three teams, one of which was Dallas, to sign Crowder to three year deal. Phoenix still hopes to bring back Dario Saric.

I am looking forward to Lakers/Suns in the west semis. It’s been too long since these squads have tangled in the playoffs

I think a lot of it for Phoenix too is still changing the culture to a winner. Crowder's consistently on good teams. So Suns starting lineup is probably

CP3
Booker
Bridges
Crowder
Ayton

Looks like a 6 seed to me!

The Celtics have lost two max contract players in the past to free agency in the past two years -- Kyrie Irving and Hayward.

Getting rid of Irving is a huge addition by subtraction. Hayward had been injured or ineffective his entire time there.

Wouldn’t really judge Ainge negatively on them not being a part of the team anymore especially when they are going to have to pay Tatum and probably Brown.

James Johnson is never going to play unless guys are hurt. He's the new Courtney Lee.

Lol how is Jordan so fricking bad at this

[Bonnell] Charlotte Hornets will sign Gordon Hayward, will waive Nic Batum for salary cap space

quote:

In order to have the salary-cap room to sign Hayward, the Hornets will waive guard-forward Nic Batum and use the NBA’s stretch provision to spread cap implications of Batum’s remaining $27 million over three seasons, an NBA source confirmed to The Observer.

quote:

Hayward is effectively costing the Hornets 39m in cap room for the next 3 years; 30m on his contract and 9m in dead money from stretching Batum.

They already payed Brown ~$29 mil per

Tatum gonna get the max obviously

Kemba’s contract is looking bad especially based on his performances vs Raps/Heat

He’s a really good 2 way player and if the top end superstars are getting $40 mil + in AAV then ~30 mil a year is the correct rate for a all star level player
