If Kesler scores the game-winner, do the Canucks have to trade him?

CANADA BLOWS!Overtime periods are extra periods beyond the third regulation period during a game, where normal hockey rules apply. USA! USA! Although in the past, full-length overtime periods were played, overtimes today are sudden death, meaning that the game ends immediately when a player scores a goal.

Serious question - if this game is like the Easter 88 game between the Islands-Captials (4 overtimes), would they delay the closing ceremonies?

No offensive players skate was in the crease when the puck crossed the line, which is what keeps goals from being awarded in the NHL.

It has to be an international rule as well. I am not sure, but the skate HAS to be in the crease when the puck crosses the line. The only person who was in the crease when that happened was Luongo.
