Yah I suspect he'd aim to be back for Australian and hopefully have a one-season farewell tour. I hope.

In a situation like this, if you put money on Novak and then he defaults, is the bet cancelled? Or do you lose your bet?

I think the books differ on when the match is live, but almost all would pay that back if you bet the match and he didn't play at all. I don't think you get a future back, though. That said, I think I did get a future refunded where Rafa withdrew before a tournament started.

Shitepants is a complete headcase against Carlitos.

As annoying as he is, I respect him because he fights hard and is usually mentally tougher than this against most other guys.
Jim Courier said Carlos told the media he has a a pretty good recipe for beating Tsitsi, but he doesn't want to give up his secrets.

Alcaraz-Sinner should be a full out war

It was not just Fed that called Djoker out early in his career for being soft. I remember Andy Roddick in a press conference getting asked about Novak pulling out of,a match, and he rattled off a list of possible illnesses and said go,ask Novak.
I think you may be spot on with your hot take on Novak, …..no more majors for Djoker.

If he decided to come back for AUS and play one more year I'd think he could perhaps win one more.
Meniscus I think you could cautiously return to practise fairly quickly - Chris Paul played for 15 years after having a torn meniscus as a young Hawnit.

The lack of flags next to Sabalenka and Andreeva jumped out at me. I guess they don't come from anywhere. Meanwhile, Rybakina spent her whole life in Russia and then took Kazakh citizenship for endorsement opportunities.

Coco is +570 tomorrow on Fanduel.

Zverev vs De Minaur is going to be insane too. De Minaur has been playing great tennis and Zverev has had some long matches that hes had to grind out.
I think De Minaur gets the upset (+225 rn)

Iga has been rolling since beating Osaka, but that still seems pretty extreme.

Which happened on a fast HC during her 16 match win streak in the US (Washington, Cincinnati, and US Open titles).

Oh I think Swiatek will likely win is straights, but being -850 against the #3 player in the world is still wild.

Sabalenka in trouble vs 17 year old Mirra Andreeva. Sabs serving to stay in the match at 30-30, 4*-5 in S3.
eta: Match point for Andreeva after a bad drop shot attempt. Sabs needs to stick to her guns and just keep pummeling.
And she seals it on her second MP. Sabalenka seems like she kind of gave up those last couple of points, might not have been 100%. But all credit to the kid, a win vs World #2 doesn't happen by accident.

Andreeva wins. The girl is just emotionless out there, it's weird. Sabs has such a wild game, she just got too erratic at the end.
