He was not pleased. I can kind of understand his point though. They probably should have suspended it and hour ago.

he surely wasn't bitching when he won three straight games earlier (end of the second early third) in the same conditions before Joker took over.

Very true. The wet court was taking away Nadal's usual advantage on clay court and he was getting mentally and physically frustrated because of it. He was being a little bitch about it though.

I've always liked Nadal. He's been second on my list behind Fed for a long time.

This is absurd though. It's clay. It's not a hard court. They intentionally wet clay courts.

He should forfeit the match if he's unwilling to play.

the director suspended play and he just bitched up a storm when the director told him

Poor Nadal. Can't wait to hear the excuses from him after this one.

This. He's pissed because he lost 8 in a row with the conditions and the director waits until he wins one and gains back some momentum to call it.

He was pissed because he felt like it should have suspended an hour earlier (around the time he started losing the 8 straight games), correct?

The director should force the match to resume. If he's unwilling to play, he should default

i don't know if the timeline fits perfectly in reality, but in his head this is how he sees it

Hes mad because they suspended it after the rain slowed the court down...hed much rather play on damp clay against Djokovic

It's officially off until tomorrow. I bet Nadal comes out looking like a new man and finishes it in 4. Djokovic has been a slow starter this year and had really hit a rhythm when this thing got called. Damn shame
