quote:In my opinion, Fitz (with Boldin coming back soon) for Bruce is really not that bad of a deal since Bruce is being used more and more in the red zone. Now Forte has come out gangbusters but has some pretty good defenses coming up in the second half of the season (which is probably why he is willing to give him up). On the other hand Thomas Jones is beginning to find his game and he plays these defensive juggernauts:
I have Fitz, Wayne and Bowe at WR and shite at RB (Thomas Jones, Darren McFadden, Ricky Willians and some not worth mentioning).
A guy in my league has offered Forte and Iaasac Bruce for Fitz and Jones in a PPR league. Their points are almost identical. I get an upgrade at RB and he gets an upgrade at WR. Looks like a win-win on the surface.
What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards taking it.

I would keep Jones and Fitz but maybe offer him someone else and see what happens. Just my .02

If Willie Parker can't go on Sunday vs. the Bengals, should I start Mwelde Moore or Michael Pittman vs. New England?

I'd start Pittman even if Parker plays. Pittman fits well in Denver and New England is old.

I asked this a few pages ago, but I'm looking for more input...
In a PPR league I can start three of the following:
Colston
Welker
T. Jones
Lee Evans
Braylon Edwards

*Although if your playoffs are weeks 14-17, might want to keep him. The more I look at S. Jackson and T. Jones' schedules, the more I am liking them. Let me know if you know of any others.

T. Jones (no doubt)
Lee Evans (no doubt)
Braylon Edwards
*I want to make sure they let Colston play an entire game before I start him.
*Edwards or Welker is a toss up, especially with Williams getting some attention (not sure how much though)

quote:I wouldn't do this. You sound like you're a little too desperate. Fitz for Bruce is like champagne for moonshine. And Forte Jones for Forte is not really an upgrade for you. Keep Fitz. He's your best player.

You don't feel like Lee Evans is a risk seeing as how he doesn't have more than four catches in any game and only two in each of the last two? He did score in his last two games, but he seems kind of hit or miss.

quote:Yeah I know, but next week I get Michael Turner back and the guy I'm playing this week has Gerrard(sp?) at QB and he has a bye, and he has Palmer who is like the 8th string QB now so I should be ok

quote:Well, he only has 4 catches (for 188 yards and 2 TD's), I have had him on one of my teams and I just feel good about him coming off a bye week vs SD. All WR's are are hit or miss (except for a handful) in my opinion.

With Edwards, I know everyone is hoping that last week was the sign of new things to come, but don't forget what the Redskins did against Dallas and New Orleans. I think Welker is nothing but safe, and that Colston and Edwards have much more upside. So I'd bench Welker and start Jones with Colston and Evans.
