Ohio State should be #1 at this point. They probably won’t end there if both teams win out.
Which is basically the gist of my beef. Why would they get passed if the team continues to look and execute at this level?
Because humans can separate competition and execution. If OSU executes well against Maryland, it isn't the same is if OSU executes against PSU. So, if LSU goes to Bama and wins by 17 points, it will mean they have executed very well against a very good team. OSU doing it against Maryland doesn't warrant the same response.
Why can people not see that winning against a good team is not the same as annihilating a good team. UF and Auburn are offensively challenged teams, just like Wisconsin is a pass challenged team. It just is what they are. It's not a knock on them but they aren't complete teams

I have in fact seen it more than probably anyone on this site.

“Ohio State junior defensive end Chase Young is doing things we’ve never seen in our six years of grading college football players at Pro Football Focus,” he wrote. “And he’s changing games in a way we’ve never seen in all our years of watching college football. Let us explain.
“Young is already a top-three prospect on every 2020 NFL Draft Board in the country, posting 9.5 sacks (tied for first in the FBS) and forcing three fumbles through seven games. He is arguably the biggest reason for the Ohio State’s defensive transformation this season. And in a 2020 draft class dominated by offense, Young looks like the most polished pass-rusher in years.”
This was before the Wisconsin game. Other teams outside the SEC have good players too

I would love to see Sewell vs Young because PFF is saying the same thing about him as an OT.
