in multi way pots it is.. I hate omaha h/l because i usually end up with 2nd nut high or low and sometimes both and still losing.
eh, depends on how many players. I wouldn't be afraid to show it down in a 3/4 way pot. That is an absolute rag board leading to the river and if there is any betting which I assume there was with the 2,5,10 flop and him holding 2,5 you have to assume your callers are drawing to a low. Only hand I would really be affraid of after the river for the high would be a flopped set or 34

The crew was huge that 1 year a few years back.
A little douchey, but frick it, a bunch of mid 20s guys becoming famous and winning tons of money. I'd probably be a bit douchey as well.

yeah I think getting a group that plays home games together a lot with people with different styles and angles can definitely help out the whole groups game
Definitely.
About 5 years ago, I worked with a girl and her husband played poker. I became friends with him and 1 other guy. And we'd play a home game once a week and it was badass.
Plus they knew this other pretty rich dude who would host tourneys at his million dollar house. Played in 3 of them, it was sick. We'd play outside near his pool, have about 40-50 people. He had this poker software to track the blinds and the table changes and stuff.
Those were the days.

I played in a couple here in town when people had that stuff.. Helps a lot to keep track. Definitely had some good home games a long time ago where some people would rebuy over and over again. No where near 40-50 people though that had to be awesome by a pool and everything.

Nice. Always a good feeling in stud to be able to get someone to play back at you when your made cards are tucked.

4, 1 hit A-10 straight and the other 2 hit the wheel to chop the low
Just had a guy hit a river straight over my set of 4 in Stud H/L to put me out.
I screwed up one hand and thought we were still playing razz.
Had an awesome razz hand though.

It was nuts. When you were outside the front door, it was glass so you could see in, the wall straight ahead was complete glass and overlooked the pool that had a sweet waterfall. It was SICK!!!
And they had a HUGE patio outside to obviously, to fit 40 or so people at about 6 or 7 tables.
Now, I don't know anyone that plays, and have to drive an hour to Tampa for a 1/2 NL game, that I haven't done in FOREVER!!!

Yuck, did the guy with KJ have any low draw to call the flop bet.. One of those hands you are hoping to hit a card when all you need is a brick.
the two holding 34 is shite luck

Yea, it's cool.
It's the place to play because it's the ONLY place to play, lol.
I actually haven't gone in a long time. I used to go before you could play NL there and it was just 1/2 limit, but having 8 guys to every pot got boring real quick, lol.
I bet it's pretty cool now with the 1/2 NL.

Course it is a free roll so that's pretty much standard

If we play a TD tourney, you will see the shite luck I get. I try to stay positive, but I played in a home game when I lived in LA and they all know my shite luck. For instance, playing a $0.50/$1 holdem nl game. I have 23 suited in the small blind, mr aggressive raises to $3.50, I call. Flop 2 2 9, I check mr aggressive bets $10, I move all in for $60, he calls with A 9, turn blank, river 9.

Yeah I bet it. Here is some more of my luck that just happened:

Ouch!!!
1 of those big house tournies I played in. 5 left, so i'm comfortably gonna make a nice payday.
I'm 3rd in chips, pick up AJ, I raise, get a call from the short stack. Flop comes A105. I move all in, he calls with A4 of spades, and 1 spade on the board.
I win the pot, there's 4 left, and i'm almost in the chip lead. He hits runner runner spade for the flush, and now i'm 5th in chips, and end up going out in 5th.
That hand sticks out for me cause i've only played in like 3 or 4 live tournies.
