He needs more time to get into shape and find his game. Hopefully by the time the USO rolls around he'll be in form again.

The matches tonight look pretty good. Fed should basically have a walkover with Malisse. Roddick/Haase and Berdych/Gasquet both have the potential to be good though.

Yep, this should be a good one. I've seen both of them play on the outside courts in Indian Wells. Gasquet is an idiot, but he really is a joy to watch.

How did you like going to Indian Wells? Haven't been there or the US Open...and trying to decide which one I should hit up first.

Go to Indian Wells first. It's like a mini-US Open. Decide if you like it before you blow some major $$$ to go to NYC.

Loved it. We've been there 3 times and will definitely go back again. The venue is great, the weather is great, I really can't say enough about how much fun it is. The outside courts are small enough that you are right on top of the action. All the players use the practice courts onsite. It is very cool.

That he can finish points with any one of his shots and he always remains cool, calm, and collected.

I haven't seen too much of him to be honest, but IIRC he's a tall guy with a big serve. He's pretty solid. I could see some tiebreaks tonight, Roddick should win though

Unless he plays like doo doo, overall you dont have much to worry about until Wawrinka/Monfils.
The frenchy is a better matchup for Roddick, theyve played a bunch and he knows his game well.

The Open is a lot of fun, but definitely go for the 3rd-4th round.
You can walk around the outer courts and watch really good matches.
When I went for the quarters and semis I didnt think it was as much fun.

Roland Garros is amazing, if you want to do it big id go there.

I think this is right. I did the semis/finals for US Open and it was OK. But, I felt like it must be jumping that middle weekend. I would do Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. The USTA usually keeps the prime matches for the day sessions on those days for CBS, so you are not playing the guessing game of whether to go day or night. Plus, there are enough people left in the draws that you could see solid matches on outer courts. By the last weekend, it is pretty dead outside of Ashe.

I have done Cincy a few times and that is awesome. Not a bad seat in the house and those Masters series have all of the heavyweights in the draws with less of the scrubs.

Tennis injuries always seen like bs. They get taped up and come back and win the match.
