Let Fed work while Roddick is rolling through in 3 sets.

Lot of love for Simon despite the fact hes still the 3rd-4th best player out of France; not a world beater.
Hes a really solid player, but Fed shouldnt let a guy like that come back when hes up 2-0 in a major.
Its good for him to be tested early though.
If Falla can do it, so can Simon. Letting him come back was a surprise for sure but it wasn't really a surprise to see Simon competitive.

Hes definitely not a typical 2nd round match, thats a tough draw; but he was still getting rolled.
7th or 8th is his career high...Its just like saying my man crush Tsonga is a top 5 player, love the dude but he isnt.
Hrbaty was 3-1 over Nadal at one point, I dont put a lot of stock in H2H unless guys have played a ton and 1 has completely dominated.
Not all, wouldnt have been suprised at all if it was 4 tight sets, instead of the 2 set down comeback.
not being a dick

That's pretty much what I said...

Exactly!
Nadal will cruise though.
So will Clijsters.

Fed actually played pretty good despite being taken to 5 sets today....Simone just turned it on at the end of the 2nd and sets 3 and 4. Having a tough match might actually benefit Fed as he gets into the later rounds (well, a/g everyone else other than Nadal).

Clijsters on now. (Tennis Channel)
Thank goodness, something to tide me over.

With Nadal whoopin arse yet again, we have shite matches on tonight. Someone, please provide some intriguing back-stories related to the upcoming matches.

What's the schedule looking like tonight? Any good matches on either side?
Posted on 1/19/11 at 10:33 pm to BayouBengals03
LINK I'm waiting for Del Potie.
Posted on 1/19/11 at 10:35 pm to BayouBengals03
Isner/Stepanek
Del Potro/Baghdatis
Both of those should be great matches tonight. I want to see how Del Potro looks.
No big names on the women's side tonight, unfortunately.

Yeah, I agree with both points.

Huge win for Isner over Stepanek, a guy who I thought could give him trouble because he is such a good returner.
Isner was actually the underdog in this match, but he really dominated it in the end.

Maybe so, but the kid he played, Tomic, seemed like a tool.
