How they didn't pick the best OL in the draft to protect their franchise QB is beyond me. Well, I guess it's not a huge stretch since we're talking about the Bungles.

Gutekunst asked directly about report #Packers told Aaron Rodgers he'd be traded this offseason. "Absolutely false. There's no truth to that whatsoever. There's a lot of false reporting going on right now, and that's particularly one thing that never happened." Pretty definitive.

I never really bought that they told him they would trade him. That would’ve gotten out and that is just not how the packers operate

Villanueva was 1000% addition by subtraction. He fell off a lot the past two seasons. Losing Pouncey wasn't ideal but his play also started to decline the past few seasons.
In terms of starting OL, they only need a C at the moment (hopefully their round 2 selection today). But they definitely should take an OT/OG at some point for depth purposes.
