Off the Bench w/ Tbob and Hester is awful.

Stopped listening after Jordy left Bc I knew what Tbob would turn it into by himself. Been listening to sports talk here in Houston in the mornings Bc it’s Astros season. Gave it a try this morning Bc football season is coming up and I figured they would be ramping up for the season. They were literally talking about Robots for at least 15 minutes while I had it on. Absolutely miserable “sports” show.

Jordy and tbob split one pretty good show to make 2 mediocre ones.

Hunt and Hill is far superior. They actually talk LSU sports and have great segments. J Hill brings a lot to the table, unlike Hester, who just talks about himself the entire show.

If you don't watch it on Youtube and can't see the video they are referring to, I can see how it is very hard to follow. Plus today is nothing but players Wednesday, so there are very few good segments. It is trying to find its pace, but still a work in progress. It is FAR BETTER than anything the Lafayette market has to offer, I can assure you.

So they talked about sports for literally the entire rest of the show. Did you just try to find something to complain about?

It’s the summer and they have 3 hours to fill daily. You’re also mistaken if you think they didn’t get off-topic with Jordy too.

I don’t know Bc I didn’t listen to the whole show, or even much beyond the robot segment, but I seriously doubt it. Tbob isn’t capable of talking sports for a whole segment of a show. He is not a sports show host.

Hunt and Hill's new show from 12-2 has become my favorite. Those guys are killing it.

Jordy is a co-host on his own show. Lloyd never shuts up.
The only show worth listening to at this point is Hunt and Hill. Thankful for them.

He isn't. But most of the show is sports. They had Nuss and Kloth in studio to talk about their recent tourney win over Olympians, they do sports betting and whatnot. Its not like they talk about nerdy stuff all day.
I think the old sports radio is dead. I think they get a lot of interaction on YouTube and they cater to that audience because it makes them more money. Them being Guaranty Media.

I despised Lloyd when I first listened to the JC show, but he has grown on me since then. Still somewhat aggravates me when he tries to finish Jordy's sentences. He does it soo much it is almost comical if you notice it. It's like a constant guessing game for him. Kind of weird that no one has pointed out how awkward it is that he does this the whole show.
Having said that... the only local talk radio I listen to now is the JC show via podcast.

The more "unleashed" version of Jordy we get on the JCS is way more entertaining than the OTB version. And i like the OTB.

Content is not the biggest issue on the show.
