Playing tight and scared I think. When Denver starts a run, OKC stops moving the ball around and plays iso, which isn’t their game. It’s the one thing everyone was rightly worried about with them… clearly talented and deep, but inexperienced. And of all the teams for inexperience to crop up, Denver may be the worst in the whole league lol. Like prime San Antonio or Los Angeles.
The timing of the games this series is also different from the regular season—obviously Denver is dealing with that too, so it doesn’t explain the losses, but if you want part of the reason why they’re not playing sharp, a 9-day layover and a 36-hr back-to-back could throw anybody off. Denver’s been off their game too (though they’re figuring it out in the 2nd half).

Denver’s bench has 3 points. They have no depth and Westbrook is garbage tonight. They might have to play their starters the rest of the game.
