Better than Rivers
Brees
Rodgers
P Manning
Brady
Vick
About the same as Rivers
Schaub
Ryan
Not as good as Rivers
E Manning
McNabb
Roethlisberger
Romo
Cutler
You have to remember that Rivers is their team right now. He can make any receiver have a big day. He'll throw to anybody - see Seyi Ariwhateverhisnameis last week.
Manning, Roethlisberger, and Cutler have the advantage of having a great defense. Their teams don't ask them to do what Rivers does. If they were asked to do it, they couldn't.
McNabb is getting old.
Romo....I'm sorry, but that must be a joke.

There's the obvious first tier of Manning, Brees, and Brady.
Then I'd say Rodgers and Rivers are on that second tier by themselves. Followed by the rest.

I concur

Not agreeing with OP but for everyone saying Rivers has shite to throw to, has everyone forgotten Antonio Gates?
Despite missing a game to injury he is still top 5 in receiving yards, and tied for first in TDs.
Best TE in the game and if you ranked him among WR's it's hard not to put him up there in the top 10.

Did anyone say Rivers is the MVP? Maybe I missed something.
right now it's Peyton Manning and nobody else should even get a fricking vote to be honest. And this is coming from someone who has never ridden his jock like a few of the talking-heads do.

nobody else should get a vote? Cmon now. Thats dumb. Why does Manning deserve it hands down? Rivers has dealt with just as much Manning this year

Rivers isnt a winner..he is a compiler.
Almost all his stats come in the 4th quarter when they are down by a lot.
I hate him.
Yup
If he was doing all of this shite when it counted they would have a better record

I remember in 08 when Drew Brees was putting up sick numbers and everyone was hating on him. Talking about how he he can't be the MVP because he is on a losing team. Phillip Rivers meets the same criteria, yet everyone is sucking on his balls.
