Probably could have checked out the Taxi's GPS unit within 48 hours if the TPD hadn't waited 11 months to actually investigate.

Between the fact that they searched Cab Drivers TODAY...
And finished their investigation today...

My guess is a competent defense attorney with an 11 month head start was able to tie up any open issues, and get air tight witness statements. I'm sure Winston will be "proven innocent".

Given that there's been nothing really coming out on JW for a couple of weeks, my supposition is that either the SAO's office is doing a great job of keeping everything very quiet (unlikely) or there's nothing new and they're not going to charge him.

I dont buy that, if they are going out of their way to make the presser this big of a deal, they wouldnt arrest him before hand.
