First off guys sign for large amounts of money. 2nd girls have NO idea what the difference is between the minors and majors. It's seriously infuriating trying to explain to girls that I didn't play for the Big League team and why I only make 2 grand a month. They just don't get it. Plus in the small towns that minor league teams are located in the players are very, very popular and it's impossible to step foot anywhere without everyone knowing who you are. In the book the System that came out recently, they talk about how college football players often get away with rape very often. And that the vast majority of the rapes are never reported. They go into great detail about sveral players who played for BYU gang-raping a girl and BYU did a lot to try and take the players sides and keep them on the team.
I suggest you get the book anyway, it is a great read and also goes into detail about the fallout with Mike Leach and Texas Tech among many other interesting stories of college football.

I would guess that both accused and accuser are concerned with what people think about them. It may bit be the "Main" thing, but I'll bet it's in the top 5 for almost everyone.

I agree. But I'd assume if someone was actually raped they'd either press charges or decide the act was too embarrassing to leak to the world. "I wonder if people will believe me" doesn't seem like it would be that high up if one was really wanting to get justice or if one was too embarrassed about the horrible crime committed on them.
Girls who claim false rape obviously don't give a shite about the opinions of the public because they're lying on purpose already. They're arse holes who are fricked in the head.
