So, at this point we're missing a lot of testimony, evidence.
Basically the TPD report is where they had the case as of February when they made it inactive AND the DNA reports that they were given in November.

So this thread has 3 types of posters:
Those who fully support Winston/FSU and believe the developments prove this girl made up her entire story because she is an attention whore (and possibly a real whore).
Those who fully support the accuser and believe that this is all a cover up and Winston undoubtedly raped the victim.
And finally, those who look at the facts presented and, regardless of their emotions, understand that there is no way to prove or disprove what happened that night. There is no evidence to prove Winston did anything wrong, just as there is no evidence to prove the accuser had some ulterior motive. These posters understand that you cannot prove that Winston raped her beyond reasonable doubt, nor can you prove that the accuser made up her story beyond a reasonable doubt. As such, Winston will remain a free man and the accuser should be able to continure her life without reprocussions.
I consider myself to be in the last group, but I find it embarassing how many posters are in the first two groups.

Congrats. I generally consider detached moderation a tell-tale sign of modesty, intelligence, and objectivity. Sometimes it's simply a mark of intellectual laziness or cowardice, however.

your GF coming into town does not mean you didn't commit rape.
Again, I am not saying Jameis did it one way or the other but wearing a condom and having a GF en route does not exonerate him or anyone else accused of rape.

This is the case, as you stated, sometimes. However to me, in this instance I felt it was the BEST position to take clearly due to the sensitive nature of the charges plus the OBVIOUS element of agendas present based on team allegiance, facts not withstanding. Waiting on those in a position to find the most accurate and factual information was the prudent thing to do here.

I'm not saying anything happened or didn't happen, it was just a random general question. I'm sure there's some statistic out there on it, just didn't feel like looking it up myself and figured one of the numerous "rape experts" in this thread could answer it
