In the interview he said DNA 2 and the girl had a relationship. He said she wouldn't say who it was, but being shrewd detectives, they found out. Then, later in the interview he did say the word boyfriend in regards to DNA 2, but it may have been inadvertent. One thing is clear is that she had some kind of relationship with number 2.
