I hate our awful middle infield the last few years. I've lost count the number of people we've put at SS and 2B over the last 4-5 years.
I do like Kozma at SS though, first time in a while I can say I actually like our SS.

Agreed, descalso is a good bench player but not every day guy imo

It would be nice for him to pan out. We need some cost controlled young stability in the middle of the infield. Kozma and Wong would do nicely. This organization has proven they are not going to spend top dollar on those two positions.

So far I like Kozma a lot.
As for Jackson...he might just surprise you.

I agree 100%. He is a solid role player off the bench.

Yep, Kozma is still young. But I like where he is at thus far. I want us to spend top dollar on the position so bad, but if you look around the MLB how many teams are actually anchored down by great SS and 2B power in the line up?
I could be wrong but I really can't think of any off the top of my head. Maybe the Yanks with Cano/Jeter...

Furcal was very good for you

I can't believe those assholes at the National's park never let Teddy Roosevelt win that race. He's only the biggest badass in the history of ever. He'd win that race very time IRL.

He was, but cant rely on him...very injury prone and aging fast

He was just temp fix while we searched for someone else to emerge or come on the market for the right price IMO.
