the coolest stadium I've ever been to (far from the nicest just b/c it was beyond old) was old Tiger Stadium (Wrigley a close 2nd). The overhangs and the seats proximity to the field made it a really cool place to watch a game.

Dodger Stadium is pretty nice. The rest all sort of seem the same.

Oakland the worst by far. I've seen 3-4 games there with 3-4k in attendance in 65k seat venue and the stands are a mile from the field. You also get yelled at when you try and improve your seats even though there's nobody in your section.

I was fortunate to go to old tiger stadium. Had an aura to it for sure.

Wrigley and Fenway are old but also didn't expect anything fancy. Both great places for games.

How many people choose Cleveland as a vacation destination?

Each ballpark I've visited was part of a broader vacation for my family.

I like Cleveland, so no argument from me. But this is a thread about baseball stadiums, which is why I added why st louis brings in a ton of visitors for baseball every year.

Again, how many people choose Baltimore, Pittsburgh or St Louis as "vacation" destinations? Cleveland in the summers is a GREAT city. More people go there than what you think. The Rock Hall, NFL Hall, Put-In-Bay and Cedar Point is great for Cleveland. Being on Lake Erie adds tremendous amounts of fun. There's way more to do in Cleveland than in freaking Pittsburgh, Baltimore or St Louis. Are you Joakim Noah? I have never heard anybody say they are going to St Louis for "vacation". lol

You can laugh, but Dodger Stadium and local ‘fans’ don’t exactly have a great reputation.

This is a thread about baseball stadiums. People take trips centered around these places sometimes.

And St. Louis and Baltimore offer great vacation aspects? Go to Cleveland, drive around the Great Lakes, hit up Niagara Falls? I don’t know.

People are in here talking about Tiger Stadium in Detroit...or Oakland...or DC. Cleveland may not be paradise, but it’s not the worst city that has an MLB team.

Its quite ridiculous. They have absolutely zero idea of how cool Cleveland is in the summer. Most probably don't even realize Cleveland has a great beach and boating scene...along with the other world destination sites like the Rock Hall. Anyway, Progressive Field in Cleveland is amazing in the summer. Its a shame that there could be serious smoke around the franchise relocating. Would be a shame.

Been to 5, and Yankee Stadium is essentially a mall/food court with a baseball game to watch on the side. Never been in a stadium with so many different amenities. It was the nicest stadium I've ever been in, but the baseball purist in me will always lean to Fenway.

Fenway Park
Yankee Stadium (New)
Minute Maid Park
Tropicana Field
Turner Field

Progressive Field-nice viewpoints and cool 90s history
Camden Yards- Cool and unique ballpark field. However, worst fans that I have encountered.
Old Yankee Stadium-So many ads. Made you feel like you were in Times Square. Was cool to be there tho.
Fenway Park- Built for early 20th century humans so it does not age well but love the uniqueness of the field and sorrounding area.
Wrigley Field-Similar to Fenway notes but just not as good. Hate the open seating in the bleachers. You can leave to get a beer and possibly lose your seat.
Guaranteed Rate Field-simple design but best scoreboard and F&B in all of baseball.
Minute Maid Park-has turned into Yankee stadium south with the overload of the ads but they have made some nice improvements over the years.
T-mobile park- This park has not aged well but I did enjoy their club area and got to see the roof close mid game.
Oracle Park-my favorite stadium in baseball.

Obviously a Cubs fans so making it a point to see them at one of these stadiums.

Yeah me too, been to the old Astrodome, Old Yankee and Fenway to see non-cub games, all the others were to see Cub games. Always a lot of Cub fans at the away venues and some fan bases handle that better than others. Never been to Philly but plan to in the next few years, kinda scared of their reputation though :)
