Rough way to lose when guy with one goal all year scores with 20 seconds left.

Calling all MSB hockey gurus
I will prob make another post like this in a month right before playoffs, but figured I'd go ahead and put out some feelers
Love watching playoff hockey but being from Houston I don't have a team I'm loyal to. So to have a rooting interest I typically bet on 2-3 teams to win the Cup therefore I can passionately pull for teams
However, I don't really know shite cause I don't watch any regular season, so I am kindly seeking the advice of the experts on td. Anybody see good value? I know NHL playoffs are special in that any team can get hot and win it all unlike NBA where you basically know it's gonna be 2-3 teams that can actually win the title. These are current odds:
Washington Capitals +465
Minnesota Wild +525
Chicago Blackhawks +700
Pittsburgh Penguins +1000
Columbus Blue Jackets +1155
San Jose Sharks +1175
Montreal Canadiens +1200
New York Rangers +1600
Anaheim Ducks +2000
Edmonton Oilers +2200
Boston Bruins +2800
Nashville Predators +3000
Ottawa Senators +3100
Calgary Flames +3300
Los Angeles Kings +3300
St Louis Blues +3300
New York Islanders +4825
Toronto Maple Leafs +5000
Tampa Bay Lightning +5500
Florida Panthers +8000
Philadelphia Flyers +10000
Winnipeg Jets +17500
Carolina Hurricanes +30000
Dallas Stars +30000
Vancouver Canucks +30000
Buffalo Sabres +50000

CBJ defenseman Ryan Murray broken hand. Might be out for the season.

My initial thoughts are, regarding value:
Blackhawks
Rangers
Capitals
Senators
CBJ
Capitals are going to be tough to beat though.
14/16 playoff teams will have a decent chance. I don't think the 2nd WC in either conference (islanders/leafs/flyers/blues/kings) will have much of a chance vs the 1 seeds

Caps will have to beat two of either New York, Pittsburgh and Columbus just to get to the conference finals.
I don't like those odds at all for the Caps. They have a very tough road.

I take that back, I think they get the flyers in the first round. Then winner of CBJ and Pens. (If they win by the division.)

Was gonna correct you but technically you were right with "new york" (islanders)
Flyers ain't getting in IMO.
The 2nd round will be tough for sure with a 16 game win streak holder or the defending cup champions.
However, Pitt is dealing with crazy injuries and CBJ, while good, aren't very experienced in playoff hockey. I do like this CBJ team though
Then they potentially face their favorite team, the Rangers, in the ECF.
Montreal has owned Rangers this year and may take them out in round 1 if they win the atlantic.

Yeah I forgot them but I need to see them with Stamkos before I give them a chance vs Caps.
Dangerous team when healthy. Their goalkeeping after the bishop trade has been great.
Considering they were sellers at the deadline and can still make the playoffs says a lot for Yzerman's GM ability.

I like Edmonton at 2200 too. Talbot is great. Lot of talent up front. Very inexperienced though in playoff hockey.
I hope the leafs make it in but they have a problem of fading in the 3rd period. They are a year ahead of schedule and their goalkeeping doesn't impress me.

If Bob stays hot, they can ride him. We're a year or two away with the rest of our lineup.
And we have talent waiting to join as well.

Blues have a big game at Kings on Monday. I would say something about your team, but I won't jinx them.
