Was/is. 2-0 is the most dangerous lead in hockey.

I hope we get the next goal. It'll be fun for if we do.

Washington got 2 great bounces that period. Jackets didn't get any. Basically the difference so far.

Those bounces are what make the streak more impressive. Stuff like that can happen any given night. Time for the boys to lock in to this one.

This pressure is great for a young team. It's great for their development for the playoffs.

Yea. What the team lacks in playoff experience they're getting small doses each night. I thought they played really good, just on the wrong side of the score board

CBJ definitely dictated play between the two goals. Very impressive team. They continue to crash and crash and crash.

They are being super aggressive in the kill. We can't handle it.

PK looks great and so does our 4th line. They are flying.

Sabres up 1-0 vs Hawks on nbcsn

Wow I didn't realize Patrik Laine is only 18 . So much new young talent north of the border

Congrats to the Jackets on their streak. One shy of tying the record, but come on... it was awesome. Nothing but respect for what they've done this year.

But all hail the Beagle line! Do the Snoopy dance! Trotz matched up his 4th line with the Dubinsky/Atkinson line and they dominated. Totally shut down, and the Beagle line even opened up the scoring. Love when the blue collar guys come through. The Caps won tonight because their grit guys were better than, arguably, the grittiest team in hockey. Fun game.

My only regret is that NBC won't televise the Blue Jackets now, which is stupid. NBCSN was showing the Hawks-Sabres game. Heaven forbid they not broadcast a Hawks game for once.

NBC has been saturating their networks for years with Blackhawks games. Just give us some fricking variety. Even ESPN is showing a Bucks game Friday night.

Bummer. Canadiens forward Brendam Gallagher is expected to miss 8 weeks after having surgery on his left hand.
