I admit, I am a casual hockey fan, but I really do want to root for my Blue Jackets. Its been so fun to finally have a good product. You could see it brewing the day we hired Davidson, its just taken a little longer than I expected. I was at the Kings game last night, it was an awesome crowd! I stopped going to my 3-4 games a year because the product was so bad, but I have already been to 5 games this year and I will be at Nationwide on Thursday for the biggest regular season game in possibly franchise history! The only concern I have is the invasion of Penguins fans. I swore off ever going to a CBJ/Pitt game again because of how arrogant and obnoxious the Pittsburgh fans were that were in attendance, but with the way this team is playing...I HAVE to be there! CBJ CBJ CBJ!!!!

We looked at tix and cheapest we could find were $60 for not great seats. I would say pound for pound obnoxious are Rangers fans. Pens/Wings/Hawks bring a lot, but Rags fans are super annoying.

Edmonton won 3-2. Coyotes got a late goal with 6 seconds left to try and make it interesting, but it was over as soon as the puck dropped.
The fight was weak too. The 3rd period was chippy throughout the game though. I think they'll play each other again in January.
