Boom 1-1 now

Buffalo up 4-2 through 2 periods

My two favorite teams are playing each other, Ducks @ Stars.

In a bad team fight, Carolina is up on Vancouver 6-5.

So did you root for Ducks or Stars? And somehow, Blues find a way to blow 3 goal lead.

The blue jacket pain train keeps rolling with a 3-1 in over the McDavids. 7 in a row. The Metro division is insane.

Red Wings got killed 4-1, making the Coyotes the last team in the NHL to get to 10 wins.

Barring a pretty significant turnaround I think this is finally the year the Red Wings playoff streak ends

Well, the Rangers ruined it. The top 5 teams in the Metro were all on winning streaks that added up to 29 games headed into last night. The Caps and Jackets came through, so I think it got to 30 before the Rangers officially lost.
Still, it's pretty remarkable how great the Metro is playing right now. The top five teams are separated by all of 2 points in the standings, and the Caps have a game in hand over the Penguins (3 on the Rangers). Only two teams in hockey, the Habs and the Hawks, both at 42 points, are ahead of the fifth place team in the Metro (the Flyers). Every team is between 41 and 39 points. You can make a serious argument that of the 7 best teams in the NHl right now, 5 play in one division.
The Flyers are the only one of the five not on a 110-point pace right now, merely on a 104 point pace. It's crazy. Someone has got to cool off.

Yeah, Metro is like the old SEC West division. I now understand the frustration that our resident Habs fans feel with Alain Vigneault.
Hopefully he didn't screw up Hank.
As a sidenote, anyone catch the Preds / St. Louis game last night? Switched at the end of Rangers game and Preds were down 3-0 so I shut it off. Crazy.

Hell of a comeback by the Preds last night. 6-3 win over the Blues after going down 3-0.
I went and that was a crazy atmosphere when the Preds started coming back. One of the loudest regular season games I've been to

The west road game stretch will be tough but there are no back to back games in it and we just survived the 1st one. Carry the flag!

Guess I haven't followed hockey as much this year, but I had no idea Jonathan Quick was injured. Supposedly won't be back until February.

Oh shite, Pens and Bruins tonight. Hell yes
Posted on 12/14/16 at 8:39 pm to Gary Busey
2-2 in the 3rd. This game has been awesome.

Essentially an empty net score

Rask just made the fricking save of his life.
