Korp is playing nearly perfect. We have thrown everything at him and this man just makes no mistakes. Freaking incredible performances these past two games. We need Stamkos back to get the puck in the net at this point. Johnson has missed like 20 shots wide. Dude is so off it's not even funny.
The defense is built around not letting high danger chances, clogging up the middle, getting the rebounds to the boards, and out to neutral on the edges. It's frustrating to play against because we don't have a lot of bad turnovers which teams like Tampa and Toronto thrive on.
Korpi has played very solidly no doubt, but hasn't had to make many great saves.
Wennburg with the dipsy doodle skate to stick

Defense was not ready for that Wennberg move. Hell; no one was.
Also: Jackets looked really well conditioned after playing a lot of hockey.

He hasn't made "highlight reel" saves, but that's usually because he is in the right position. He has taken a ton of shots and not made a mistake(besides the kick in but that was just random bad luck).

I thought the Jackets would tap out after the cumulative effects of the Toronto series and Tuesday. But, it looks like they are in it for the long haul and should be able to get some decent rest now with a Saturday night game and no travel.

Second period troubles continue for VGK. They've given up 14 goals since the restart, 12 of them in the second.
Credit to the Blackhawks. They're playing better and seem hungrier right now.

Damn. I turned the game off after the first assuming it was over. I need to start betting against Vegas in the second apparently

Not thus far in the third...Vegas has dominated. Matter of time before they put one in.

Hawks have to get some offense here or Vegas is gonna end it

Good start... That 3rd period was brutal

It was inevitable... Those last three minutes or so were all Vegas

Pastrnak messed himself up on the goal celebration the other day and is unfit to play.

Krejci puts the Bruins on the board.

They turned it up nicely at the end.
Reilly Smith has been $$$ lately.
VGK and Chicago have a back to back this weekend, so Fleury is a strong Game 3 possibility. Would be cool if Chicago puts Subban in against his old buddies.

frick. I really wanted VGK to lose. They could win it all this year. Truly the only team I’m scared of in the west vs my AV’s.

sms will tell you they are living a lie. I think the east's best are better. But, they could win a tough final if they get there.

When you get down to the Stanley Cup finals anything can happen. That’s why I mentioned the west in specific. Personally I think the west will come down to the Avalanche and Golden Knights, and as a Colorado fan, VGK scares me, because as they proved last week, they can beat us when it matters most.

Canes score like a minute later. 2-1.

Everybody's favorite player scores to tie it at 2 with four seconds left in the second period.
