I’ll give it 6 games. Bowness doesn’t get the head gig and Benn gets traded, hopefully.

You work hard all year for home ice, then lose it in two bad games after a four-month layoff.

There’s no home ice for anyone so no one really lost home ice advantage.

St. Louis has the Canucks. We got Calgary with the win

And Foudy.

But are they creators/finishers? No.

Both are 20 year olds. They show plenty of promising potential.

Texier’s jump just from late last season has been significant.

Loser of this game goes home, and winner plays lightning in the first round, correct?

Is this optimism?

I wasn't sure you were capable of that.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I guess I’ll go for the Blue Jackets for this game. Never been to Toronto. At least I’ve been to Columbus a bunch of times because my mom went to college there, and my moms entire half of the fams is from Ohio. Gives me some sorta reason to root for someone in this game.

Keep the PLD, Texier, and Foudy line together the rest of the night. It’s fantastic.

Toronto is a great city, but for some reason I love seeing their hearts broken when the Leafs lose. I guess I grew up a bit more of a MTL fan before the Wings got good.

I have no problem with anything in Ohio other than that filthy football team in Columbus. I feel like peeps in the north and midwest should like the Jackets for the union tie-ins.

Leafs on the PP.

CBJ squanders a PP to start the third. Not good, but maybe they will play with the right level of discipline with a one goal lead.

You could copy and paste this for every CBJ PP opportunity.

What is fascinating or at least it is to me

Both home teams (Edmonton and Toronto) can be eliminated in the seeding series yet both would’ve made it if season played out.

And STL and Bos would probably have been in the 1/2 range in their conferences, but got ratfricked by a slow start the last ten days.
