Definitely the best team.

To win this without Stamkos almost entirely.

Also, a well deserved shout out to Toronto and Edmonton for their role in these playoffs.

Great job, especially under these circumstances.

Stars were playing with house money for nearly the entire playoff. To say this team over achieved is a massive understatement. Now, they did work to keep it all going & deserved to make it to the Cup. But Tampa was simply better all around. I've never seen such phenomenal puck disruption with the success rate Tampa put down this series. They basically had every single lucky puck bounce go their way. And that comes from pleasing the hockey gods by doing all of the little things right.

All that said. To hell with 'em. They're not MY team. I hope they all fall over drunk & lose even more teeth.

Fables hockey has been a turrible experience. The Cup presentation & celebration was beyond awkward.

1 can only hope that the Stars'/Bowness "dump & chase" is thrown out the window & we actually install some legitimate offense.

Lastly, looks like in fact we ARE now going home. #sportscry

It's so cute when Stars fans try to pretend otherwise. But there's only one Big Rig that really matters. Any other claim is nothing but an imposter. If only Maroon could play the Stars in the playoffs every year. Congrats the one and only Big Rig and Lightning. I never doubted you.

Felt like I was watching a poorly executed version of Hitchcock hockey

Free agency starts Friday. Is there even enough interest for a thread?

Pens just gave Jarry a multi year deal at 3.5M signaling the end of Matt Murray in Pittsburgh.

I’d say start one. I’ll try participate if I can.

Knights sign Lehner to a 5/$25m

Sounds like they should have kept Fleury and left MM for Vegas.

For those that were hating on Seguin throughout the playoffs:

Post-season availability won't be for a couple more days, so the official word won't be out until then, but it appears this may be an indication of where it's headed:

Someone pointed out the wrist injury during the playoffs because you could see the tape on it. Either way, remarkable he stayed out there and played a solid two-way game with all that. And I know there's the "everyone is out there playing hurt" crowd, but just look at all the "unfit to play" guys on each team as those playoffs wore on and he was still out there

Yep, he hustled his arse off too. It wasn’t due to a lack of effort.

He gave them all he had.

Super excited about the Rangers picks!!! I really want Hendrix when they traded up to 19 but was unaware of his injury issue...Schneider looks like a big hitter!!!

Henrik to Caps, 1 year deal. Holtby to Nucks. Thought Demko was going to be their guy.
