It could have been played this afternoon. I guess someone didn't want to go up against the NBA playoffs. But no one ever cared about that before. But I like the 9:30 games. But if the Canucks are forced to play today, then shouldn't the Flyers play today too? Both wrapped up their series Friday. So why do the Flyers get the extra day off?

I so wish I got to go to The Arena/Checkerdome. I'd love to see a new arena with that same retro design.

NBC had 2 auto races also today Indy and NASCAR will always get top billing

It's interesting how the networks are covering the games. NBC has some of their crew doing the game from home. And one analyst on site. While the CBC games I watched, both broadcasters apprared to be on location.

Remember Dave Andreychuk telling a funny story about that place. The coaches had a room/office, they were discussing things during intermission and closed the door. Well, the door got stuck/jammed. They couldn't get it open and the Lightning had to start the next period with no coaches.
