The Habs pulling this off doesn't make me feel any better because now it's apparent the Caps were just..unlucky..to run into this freakshow. Halak is just unbelievable.

c'mon Boston!
I'm starting to sense a power outage. Losing Sturm was tough. Losing Sturm and Krecji makes it a lot easier to defend everyone else.
So much for Habs-Bruins. The all-PA Eastern Conference Final is looking a lot more likely.

That would be so awesome if the Habs could win in Pitt. Can't stand the Pens. Unfortunately, I think they'll get it done.
A Bos-Mtl series would be sweet. Went to a CBJ-Boston game earlier this year in Boston, and the basic consensus was because we weren't Montreal fans, we were cool.

Any team playing the Pens is my favorite team (since the Jackets are out). Once they're eliminated, I'll probably cheer for Boston (assuming they make the conference finals).

I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt, up by one game and with Boucher's status in question.

what do you mean by this? leighton was the one who resurrected the flyers when emery went down...the dude went 16-5 when he was playing...he's better than boucher IMO and we are in just as good of a position as we were...let's go flyers!

I'm not too surprised that it's going to a game 7. They've traded wins all series long and as long as that trend continues next game, I'll be content. Game 7's are awesome; I just wish my team wasn't involved. As far as Boston, that game did surprise me. Not so much that they lost, but how they did so. They apparently were booed by the home crowd and even the loss of Boucher did nothing to change their luck. Getting Gagne back was huge and he came through in this one. I think they've only lost one game in which he's played in the playoffs. I'm not sure what the deal is with Boucher, but the Flyers have all the momentum now and a legitimate chance to force a game 7.

Pittsburh win 4-1 wednesday. Philla wins game 6 but I think loses game 7.

Boucher's got the playoff experience (which as we've seen with past performances like Ward's and Halak's now, isn't necessary to be strong in the playoffs, but I do think it's an edge, in most cases). Their stats are relatively the same this year (though Leighton's been solid since heading to Philly, but he was terrible in Carolina, FWIW). This was also his first game since March. Maybe he's still a little rusty (yes, I know he played well tonight).
