I wonder if they will increase the salt in the water running through the coils? I do not know if that is possible even

I hope that the Habs can have more than 5K for their games. It's ridiculous to deny fans one of the great environments in hockey.

I believe the Rangers and Kings played the first outdoors game in an exhibition in Las Vegas a long time ago. I want to say it was a night game in October. I remember watching a replay on NHL Network.

September 27, 1991 in Caesar's Palace parking lot, where they used to set up many of the boxing matches. LINK

The ice held up well, despite the heat. And apparently, was viewed as a success. So it is surprising it took a dozen years to play the next outdoors game. I really enjoy watching replays of old games on NHL Network.

Crazy when you think about how they had so much trouble with the ice at Lake Tahoe. Everything was perfect for them, right up until about an hour before puck drop. That was the first time that the sun had come out in almost a week.

I guess the weather is way more unpredictable in the mountains. The outdoor game in Las Vegas was at night with no sun to cause problems.

Is it typical to have games on USA this late in the playoffs? I don't think so.

They are the best team left. I don't see anyone taking them out.

They better play better the rest of the series than they did today. The Islanders completely controlled that game and the only reason Tampa even had a chance was due to a very questionable cross checking penalty on Nelson with under two minutes left in the game.
